Accessibility Statement
I, Jaka Šubic, strive to make the website jakasubo.info usable, understandable and as accessible as possible to a wider range of visitors, including people with different forms of impairment.
This statement is prepared voluntarily, in the spirit of web accessibility and good practices based on the WCAG guidelines and the EN 301 549 standard. The website is a personal blog and presentation site and is not intended for online sales. To my understanding, it does not operate as an e-commerce service.
Level of Accessibility
Based on self-assessment, I assess the website as partially accessible. Basic content is generally accessible with common browsers, the site uses a responsive layout and provides basic navigation through the main content sections.
Nevertheless, I am aware that individual parts of the website may not yet be fully adapted to all users and assistive technologies.
Content That May Not Be Fully Accessible
The website may have the following limitations:
- some image materials may not have sufficiently descriptive alternative text;
- some older posts, embedded content or documents may not be fully adapted for screen readers;
- individual parts of forms, plugins or external embeds depend on WordPress extensions or external services and may not be equally accessible with all assistive technologies;
- some design elements, spacing, contrasts or heading order may not yet be optimal for all modes of use.
Preparation of the Statement
The statement was prepared on May 1, 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment of the publicly accessible pages of the website.
I will improve the accessibility of the website gradually, especially during content and technical updates of the site.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility issue while using the website or need content in another format, please let me know. I will do my best to help you and, where possible, remedy the identified shortcoming.

Handling Procedure
I will try to respond to accessibility messages within a reasonable time. If the issue requires a technical change to the website or adaptation of content, I will assess the possibility of remedying it in light of the complexity of the intervention, available resources and the purpose of the particular content.
Because this statement is published voluntarily and the website, to my understanding, is not a public-sector website under the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act, it is not intended to replace any formal procedures where such procedures would expressly apply to particular content under the law.
